World Menopause Day Celebration In Collaboration With Local Organisation
18 th October marks World Menopause Day with an exciting event taking place at The Ramana Wellness Centre in Perth.
The mini-retreat day, inspired by world menopause day is a collaboration between Menopause Café (a charity founded in Perth by Rachel Weiss), Pathfynder Holistic Health, Nourish Inside Out and Perthshire Business Women’s Network.
Heather Borderie, co-host for the event and Host of Menopause Café, Perth said “We are all members of Perthshire Business Women’s Network and felt this was a great way to collaborate to bring an event to Perth that is totally unique.
The afternoon is designed to allow participants some “me time”, an escape from the demands of day-to-day life and a chance to relax and do something special just for them.
This year World Menopause Day falls on a Friday, so what better way to start the weekend than this?”
The afternoon starts at 1.30pm:
Gentle introduction
Acupuncture treatment and guided meditation with Lynn from Pathfynder to calm the
nervous system, increase deeper sleep and reduce menopausal symptoms.
Nutrition Talk & Healthy Snacks with Marjorie from Nourish Inside Out.
Networking
Leave feeling regenerated, confident and empowered.
Cost to include all of the above is £44 plus booking fee
Spaces are limited.

Menopause Cafe
We are proud to promote this non PBN event run by the Menopause Cafe.
Menopause Café Perth and Kinross Council is open to the public and anyone (regardless of gender or age) to come together to have a chat, grab a drink, laugh, cry and talk about the menopause. Creating a friendly and safe environment for all.
Menopause Cafes are an opportunity to drink tea and coffee and talk about menopause with no preset agenda. They are free and open to everyone regardless of age and gender. There are no sales or promotions and there is no intention of leading participants to any conclusion, product or course of action.
The first Menopause Café was organised by Rachel Weiss in 2017 in Perth and since then they have been held all around the UK and across the world. You can read more about Menopause Café at www.menopausecafe.net
Perth Café Host Heather Borderie says, "I am delighted that Perth and Kinross Council are hosting this event on World Menopause Day. The menopause can be an isolating and stressful time for women, their families, friends and colleagues. Having an opportunity to meet others and openly talk can make the transition through this phase easier."
For more information please contact Heather Borderie, email: menopausecafe@outlook.com
Come along, grab a coffee, and let's break the taboo around menopause together. See you there!

Three Benefits of Networking
Opportunities for Growth: Networking provides access to new business opportunities, whether through potential partnerships, collaborations, or client leads. Meeting and connecting with other professionals can lead to the discovery of new markets or the development of innovative products and services.
Knowledge Sharing: Networking events are platforms for exchanging ideas and knowledge. Engaging with peers from different industries can offer fresh perspectives, solutions to business challenges, and insights into industry trends and best practices.
Building Relationships: Establishing and maintaining professional relationships is crucial for long-term success. Networking helps build a support system of contacts that can offer advice, mentorship, and support throughout one’s career. These relationships can also lead to referrals and recommendations, further expanding one’s professional reach.
Hope to see you there
