I’m Kelly McIntyre, a photographer and filmmaker who’s been telling stories through images for the past 20 years. My journey started when my son began school and I decided to take the leap into self-employment, turning my passion for photography into a way of life.
Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from weddings and portraits to branding shoots, events, and short films. These days, my heart lies in projects that bring people together, spark conversation, and connect us to the world around us. That’s what led me to start my social enterprise, Present Focus – combining photography, video, and creative workshops to explore personal stories and community life.
Home is the beautiful Lunan Valley in rural Perthshire, where the lochs, wildlife, and changing seasons inspire my work. I’m a year‑round wild swimmer, happiest with a camera in hand and nature all around me. For me, photography is more than capturing moments – it’s about slowing down, noticing the details, and creating space to connect with ourselves and each other.
