As a Strategic Business and Branding Marketing Communications Consultant, I focus on helping artisanal food producers—from field to fork—and hospitality venues gain clarity in their branding. My aim is to assist them in discovering and sharing their stories effectively and creating engaging images that truly showcase their offerings.
I began my journey as a graphic designer and instructor before transitioning into a specialist role in strategic integrated marketing communications. I've had the pleasure of working across Australia, Canada, Italy, and Scotland, as well as engaging with clients globally.
Experience:
It might surprise some that an Aussie decided to move to Scotland, with the cooler climate being one of my reasons! Arriving in Edinburgh on the first day of the first lockdown certainly made my experience of my new country not what I’d expected, with plenty of interesting twists along the way.
I enjoy uncovering stories of success, challenges, and opportunities, creating visuals that support these narratives and encourage both current and future customers to connect. I simplify marketing questions, breaking them down to develop practical strategies and tactics that make sense, particularly for the food and hospitality sectors in Scotland.
Throughout my work, I have partnered with a variety of organisations—public, private, and non-governmental—to help them express their stories through both words and images. I also facilitate collaboration among teams, guiding them as they plan how to deliver their projects or programmes effectively.
My goal is to help organisations achieve their business and marketing objectives in the most dynamic way possible.
