Hi, I'm Shona Harcus, an abstract expressive artist.
I create large and smaller-scale paintings on canvas using an intuitive and expressive approach with paint. My work can be found in galleries throughout the UK and online.
I’m incredibly passionate about the Scottish landscape, in particular the West Coast and Hebridean Islands. In spring/Summer, I become hugely inspired by the shapes and colours of the flora and fauna around me. My work often responds to this change in season and is reflected in the floral paintings I create.
I was born and raised in Scotland and studied Fine Art and Contemporary Art Practice. Part of my studies took me to North Uist in the Outer Hebrides which was a transformative experience for me.
My paintings are in collections throughout the UK and Internationally.
