30th Anniversary Awards: A real headliner, taking place on 13 November at Greyfriars Hall, Edinburgh (2 pm–8:30 pm), with awards, dinner and celebration. Keynote from Captain Emma Henderson MBE, plus a talk from Tessa Simpson, ASB's first president. 13 award categories open later this month, so there's something for everyone to enter. Tickets are £90 for members and their first guest, £120 for non-members, with Klarna instalments available. Sponsors are also being sought.
New ASB Events Calendar: A handy monthly view of affiliate events open for us to join. If you haven't set up your member profile yet, now's the time.
ASB committee roles: ASB is welcoming at least three new committee members, including a Membership Secretary, and would especially love to hear from anyone with Finance, website, or Comms/PR experience. To express interest, contact president@asb-scotland.org (cc secretary@asb-scotland.org).
'Expert Help' testers wanted: ASB is looking for 5 members to help test its new feature. You'll need a member profile, a service to offer, a bookable calendar (e.g., Calendly), and to be happy running up to 4 x 15-minute sessions. Keen? Contact secretary@asb-scotland.org.
Thank you, as always, for being part of such a warm and vibrant community. We look forward to seeing many of you soon!
