Fiona Perry | FlyingSmiles
Fiona Perry, RDH (3030) qualified from King’s College London in 1985. She has worked in various roles as a Dental Hygienist in NHS and Private practices. Fiona took time out of dentistry and qualified as an HR manager for J Sainsbury’s. Fiona utilised those JS skills as a SVQ assessor and trainer of Dental Nurses and Dental Hygienists. She uses her gentle but impactful skills with her patients and guides them through changing habits forever.
In 2019 Fiona set up the first in Scotland mobile dental hygienist service, FlyingSmiles.co.uk.
Fiona is passionate about prevention and wants to show her patients how simple it is to keep their health through their smile. Her other love is the planet, and she aims to be as sustainable as possible; ensuring suppliers have a sustainable policy, offering a fully eco-friendly dental shop and traveling to her local community on a cargo bike.
Outside work she is a mum to a teenager, wife to a translator and loves being outdoors in her productive garden, doing circuits in the park, being out on her bike or swimming. Fiona loves a glass of chilled white a good book and a sun lounger too!
