After years of spending our holidays exploring different rural areas of Scotland, my husband and I decided to stop saying "one day" we'll move..... and actually do it. We settled on Alyth and made the move in December 2022.

It was the catalyst I needed, and in 2024, after a 25-year career in Retail Banking, I retired early at 55 to turn my passion for interiors into formal expertise by earning a Diploma from the Interior Design Institute.

Today, as the founder of Fresh Focus Design in Alyth, I bring a unique blend of financial discipline and creative vision to my work. I believe professional design should be accessible to all, working across all budgets to eliminate project overwhelm. Inspired by the stunning local landscapes, I help clients create calm, functional, and beautiful spaces.

Now a resident for over 3 years, I am keen to connect and collaborate with fellow Perthshire business owners, makers, and trades.
